Projects

Ticketing System

A fully functional help desk system deployed on an Azure virtual machine, using osTicket 1.17.2. The system handles ticketing, troubleshooting, and support for both employees and IT staff.
  • This project involved setting up and configuring a complete help desk solution using osTicket. I handled the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of the system, along with the deployment on an Azure VM.
  • I set up the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to host the osTicket application, ensuring a stable and secure environment for ticket management.
  • Implemented and customized osTicket features, including ticket categories, user access, and automated email notifications via SMTP (Gmail/SendGrid).
  • The project also involved the creation of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated integration, testing, and deployment. Azure DevOps was used for project management and issue tracking.

Bobo

A baby milestone tracking app with multifunctional features where parents can log milestones, view activities and nutrition guides, plus a market place and forum.
  • Drawing inspiration from my two-year-old son at the time, I designed a web application to track and log a baby's milestones. This enhanced my full-stack software development skills.
  • Handling backend development, I implemented logic, API endpoints, and performed comprehensive testing. The frontend, built using Django templates and Bootstrap CSS, showcases my skills in crafting user-friendly interfaces.
  • While not currently live due to infrastructure cost, Bobo was previously hosted Azure Leveraging Azure's app services, PostrgreSQL database, and Azure Blob Storage for media files. This highlights my cloud skills.
  • I implimented CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions for automated code integration, building, testing and deployment. Azure DevOps is used for project management, issue tracking, and sprint planning
